Script for Annual Function
We are all set to begin our programme. Now we call
upon concerned MC’s to take over the stage.

Mother Mary was grateful to the Lord for all the wonderful things he had done in her life. Same way we the family of St. Anthony’s School is grateful to the Lord for his innumerable blessings and graces he has bestowed on each one of us.
We thank the Lord for this wonderful day God had given us. We in gratitude in our mind and heart let us get ready for our Annual Program.

I call upon Amrita Chettri of class 8 to proceed the
program.
(1) Prayer Dance (Amrita Chettri, 8):- Good Afternoon/Evening everyone present here.
Every morning is a surprise and every sunrise is a
challenge and each day is gift. To give the first fruit of the day to the Lord
is one of the most valuable ways to show our Love to God. With these sentiments
in mind let us invoke the God’s Blessings on all of us through a prayer dance.
Let us welcome girls of class IX and X to present a Prayer Dance.
Thank you Friends for invoking God’s blessings on all of us.
(MC) Lighting The Lamp:- Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do it. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.
Now, I would like to call on the stage our Respected Principal Fr. Carlus Kiro, our Honourable chief guest Sri. Sheshanand Suren, our Guest of Honour Sri. Dilip Barman, Rev. Fr. Donatush Tirkey, Bank Manager and Traffic-in-charge for lighting the lamp. Please give them a big hand to be present upon the stage.

A very warm Good Afternoon/Evening to all of you.
I Ajay Raj is extremely privileged to have the
opportunity to address you at the this important moment when our institution St.
Anthony’s School is celebrating its 7th Annual Day today.
It is always an honour to be able to motivate young minds. Today’s children are the future of our state and the country. We wish them to be good human beings and make this world a better place to live in.
On behalf of St. ................. School, I cordially and respectfully welcome our Honourable Chief Guest Sri. Sanjay Singhania, Principal of G.D. Public School, Navi Mumbai. We are certainly grateful to you for courteously and gladly accepting our invitation to become the Chief Guest on this occasion today. Kindly give huge applause as we welcome Sir Sanjay Singhania.
On behalf of everyone present here, I heartily welcome the inaugurator and the dignity of the 7th Annual Function Sri Arjun Kapoor, S.I. Navi Mumbai Circle as the Guest of Honour. Sir you did not hesitate at all to be a part of the program. On this evening with merging of minds we welcome you Sir.
We welcome our Secretary, Rev. Fr. Thomas Fernandis from the depth of our hearts for your valuable presence.
It is a matter of great pleasure and honour for me to welcome the Principal of our school, Rev. Fr. ................ , a man of simple living and high thinking. Your endless care, guidance, support and encouragement prove that you are a great leader. We are really blessed to have a Principal like you.
I would also like to welcome all the parents who have continuously supported us in our endeavour to spread the light of true knowledge.
Lastly and importantly, I would like to welcome all the Fathers, Sisters, Deacon, Brothers, teachers, staff and all students who are an integral part of this school and have always supported the vision and mission of the school.
I humbly request all for your kind co-operation
throughout the program and making it a grand success.

Now, our students are coming on to the stage to entertain you all with their colourful dances, singing and acting. Now I shall hand over the mike to master Arkadip Das of class 7.
(2) Rhymes (Arkadip, 7):- Good Evening everyone present here.
A school is the best platform for the children to
showcase their talents and discover the best within.
I, Arkadip Das from class 7, is here to call upon my companions
of Nursery to show their talents by reciting the rhymes.
Thank you dear students for entertaining us by your facial and lovely expressions.
Let us give them a round of applause.
MC:- Riyan Debnath of class 1 please come over the stage to introduce with the next program.
(3) Skit (Riyan Debnath, 1): Good afternoon to everyone
Now we class 1 students are going to mesmerise you
with our skit. I hope you will enjoy it and encourage us. Now I welcome my
friends upon the stage.
Thank you friends for your good performance. Dear Parents, I hope you enjoyed it. So, give them a good hand.
MC:- Now I request Hardik Singha of class 2 to proceed further.
(4) Action Song (Hardik Singha, 2) :- Good Afternoon to one and all.
Songs are well convey when sung with actions and sung
from the lips of tiny tots.
I, Hardik Singha from class 2, is here to invite my blooming friends from K.G. on the stage to perform their Action Song.
Thank you dear friends for your melodius and lovely action song.
(MC) Prize Distribution:-
I call upon Our Honourable Guest of Honour, Sri. .................., Sub-Inspector of Batasai Circle to give away the prizes for the successful
academic performance from Nursery to class 2.

Now I call upon Arkadip Das of class 7 & Ankush Biswas of class 2 to proceed further.
(5) Group Dance (Arkadip Das, 7 & Ankush Biswas, 2):-
(Arkadip, 7) Good Afternoon/Evening to one and all.
Oscar Wild said “I have many flower but the children
are the most beautiful flower of all. So dear friend let us sit back and enjoy
our pretty precious flowers unfolding their petals in the form of dance.
(Ankush, 2) Good Afternoon one and all. I, Ankush Biswas of class 2 welcome my friends to come on the stage with their energetic jingling steps to perform the dance.
Thank you friends, it was a lovely performance. I
request the audience to give them a big applause.
(MC):- Now I call Tanuja Singha of class 4 to proceed further.
(6) Sing & Dance (Tanuja Singha, 4):- Good Evening everyone.
Now, it’s time for class 4, I, Tanuja Singha, a
student of class 4, welcoming the singing and dancing sensation group of my
friends.
What a Melodious performance by class 4. Have a round of applause for them. Please increase the sound of claps. Hope you have enjoyed it.
MC (Annual Report):-
Now it’s time to look into the school
progress/achievement made by the school for the past three years. Now I invite
our Respected Principal Rev. Father Carlus Kiro to present the Annual Report.
Thank You Father for your descriptive brief report.
Now we request you to give away the prizes for classes
3 to 6 for their good performance in academics.
Once again we thank you for giving away the prizes.
Now I call upon Deepanjali Paswan of class 6 to
proceed further.
(7) Mime (Deepanjali Paswan, 6) :-
Good evening to one and all.
Mime is a wonderful way of expressing one’s talents.
It is the sure way to capture the audience to be one with the performers. Here
we have our friends from class 6 to showcase the importance of Nationatism and
Partiotism with mesmerising sounds.
I ,Deepanjali Paswan, from class 6, like to call upon my classmates on the stage to perform their talents.
Thank you dear friends for making us to think about our freedom fighters, our national duties and their importance and our responsibility to safeguard it. I request the audience to give a huge round of applause.

(8) Play (Md. Bishal, 5):-
Good Evening to one and all.
Everyone of you like to watch movies and serials on
the T.V. We eagerly wait for the next episode. Same is going to take place on
the stage.
I ,Md. Bishal student of class 5, is here to call upon play group of class 5 to present their play on Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. A big round of applause for them to come on the stage.
Thank you friends for that mind blowing performance. Dear all put your hands together to appreciate them.

by our energetic students of class 7.
I ,Rajdeep Roy, student of class 7 welcome my classmates to join me on the stage to show our multicultural dances which expresses the richness of Indian Diversity.

introduce your programme.

Unity in Diversity is used as an expression of harmony
and unity between dissimilar individuals or groups.
I, Pritam Das and my co-partner Priyeshi Saha on behalf of class 8 would like to welcome everyone on this annual day.
We would like to make a mime presentation on Unity in Diversity.
Unity in diversity is a concept of “Unity without uniformity and diversity with fragmentation” that shifts focus from unity based on a mere tolerance of “physical, cultural, linguistic, social, religious, political, ideological and psychological” differences towards a more complex unity based on an understanding that difference enriches human interactions. By saying this I would like to welcome our participants on the stage.
Well done dear friends for that thought provoking performance. Dear parents join your hands to appreciate their efforts.

Good Evening Honourable Chief Guest, other
dignitaries, my dear parents and well wishers.
Dance can make us dance with its rhythmic beat. Make
everyone present here happy and joyful. Let us beat and dance.
I, Samuel Ekka would like to call upon girls of class 8 to take us into the world of dance.
It was very capturing and awesome performance. Thank you friends for making us to dance with you. Dear Parents, show them your appreciation by putting your hands together.
MC (Message by Guest of Honour’s and felicitation):-
Now I request
our Guest of Honour’s, Sri. Dilip Barman, S.I. of Batasi Circe to
enlighten us with his motivating message.

Now I request our Respected Father, Donatus Tirkey, Secretary of the school to honour our Guest of Honour.
Now it’s for class 9 & 10 boys to show their talents with their action Skit. I request Atish Roy of class 9 to introduce us with their skit.

Good Evening to one and all.
Today I, Atish Roy of class 9, is going to tell you
about a journey that our parents, teachers, seniors had gone through and we
have been boared on.
Let’s see the journey!
How does day’s of unwillingness to go school
transformed into unwillingness to leave school.
First day:- Good Morning students! Your final exam will stat from 6th March and be prepared for your exam.
Attention class last 15 minutes. First tag your paper
and write.
Hush! Finally exams are over.
Class your results will be declared on 1st
April.
You fail in one exam, so what ! Don’t stop
Treat winning and disaster as imposters. Keep faith in
youself.
Awake, arise
If you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty
minutes of distance run, yours is the earth and everything that’s in it.
“Utho aur khudpe yakeen karoo”
The journey ends. I always knew looking back on tears would make me laugh, but I never knew looking back on the laughs would make me cry.
The first day, we are forced to but last day..........
Thank you teachers, parents, friends, campus....... I will cherish this all through my life. St. Anthony’s you are that beauty that will provide me joy for ever.

Now Bappa of Class 9 is coming to introduce us to
Nagpuri Dance.
(13) Nagpuri Dance (Bappa Debnath, 9):-
Good Evening Everyone.
Dance is the most beautiful form of expression of
human feelings. Dancers are the messengers of the God’s.
I Bappa student of class 9 call upon Nagpuri group of dancers to show their talents. So let’s put your hands together for the energetic start of the show.

(14) Action Christmas (Yubraj & Dipa, 3):
Good Evening to one and all.
We are almost reaching to the end of our program. We
Yubraj & Dipa along with our group are going to present a scene from the
bible commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrated on 25th
December every year. So here are class 3 students coming before you to show the
importance of Christmas.
(MC):-
I am sure you all appreciate these students for their
presentation and have experienced the blessings of babe in the manger. So give
them a huge round of applause.
Now I call upon our teacher’s to greet you with
Christmas Carol.
Thank you teacher’s for your melodious song and taking us back to 2000 years. Once again Let us join together to wish all our dear parents and friends A Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
